Thick Precision Steel Plates

Precision Grinding inventories large quantities of carbon and alloy steel plate and steel bar. ASTM A36 HR up to 8" thick x 96" wide x 240" long. AISI 4140 to 4" thick. ASTM A572-50 to 4" thick. SAE 1045 to 4" thick. A514-t1 to 4" thick.  A2, S7, and D2 tool steel can be Special Ordered. Please, inquire about specific thickness of carbon or tool steel bars and plates. We pride ourselves on being able to pull steel from inventory, flame cut, saw cut, or plasma bevel your parts to your custom order, heat the parts on-site in the furnace, and grind the parts to your critical tolerance thicknesses. We grind heavy steel blocks and block plates as thick as 24" thick. We grind surfaces: Sides, Edges, and Ends. Please, specify your thickness, parallelism, and flatness requirements. Blocks or Rectangles are ground square when specifying to meet critical squareness tolerances for four or six sides. No job is too big or too small! We've been operating since 1971.
